★ School in north-western Gorlovka comes under fire – Prikhodko

Donetsk, Feb 27 – DAN. The school in the Komarovo settlement in north-western Gorlovka was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Thursday.

“Komarovo outskirts came under heavy weapons and small arms fire. A shell fragment hit school No 10. Be careful,” Prikhodko said.

He told the Donetsk News Agency that the school was in use. No report on casualties or damage were immediately available.

A team of the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain more accurate information.

The JCCC said that two 82mm mortar rounds and four recoilless gun rounds had been fired towards the Gagarin Colliery settlement (located in immediate proximity to Komarovo) from a Ukraine-controlled area at 16:35.*jk
