Ukrainian forces augment fire at Gorlovka area – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 26 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired large calibre mortars at the Zaitsevo settlement area in northern Gorlovka on Wednesday morning, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“From 08:00 to 08:27, Ukrainian armed formations delivered strikes on the northern Zaitsevo – southern Zaitsevo axis expending ten 120mm mortar rounds,” the report said.

Earlier, Ukrainian servicemen fired five recoilless gun rounds at the Trudovskaya Colliery settlement in the western outskirts of Donetsk, the JCCC said.

No casualties or damage were immediately reported.

Also on Wednesday, reports said that Ukrainian forces had shelled the outskirts of Donetsk and Gorlovka with mortars.*jk
