Ukrainian forces shell northern Gorlovka, damage reported – mayor

Donetsk, Oct 24 – DAN. Ukrainian forces opened mortar fire at the Golmovskiy neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka; several garages were damaged in the shelling, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Thursday.

“In the strike at Golma (Golmovskiy – eds Donetsk News Agency), five rounds were fired at the eastern outskirts of the settlement, the Specialised School area and Bolnichnaya Street,” Prikhodko said. “At the Soyuz garage cooperative, garage N 120 took a direct hit at the roof, and garages No 118, 119 and 121 were damaged.”

The Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported that 12 82mm mortar rounds were fired at Golmovskiy from 06:50 to 08:15.
