Ukrainian forces fire mortars at Donetsk’s western outskirts – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 18 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have begun to shell the outskirts of the Petrovskiy district in western Donetsk, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said.

“At 11:50, four 82mm mortar rounds were fired towards the Trudovskaya Colliery settlement, the enemy also used recoilless guns,” the JCCC said.

Damage assessment is underway; no casualties have been immediately reported.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ukrainian forces shelled the Zaitsevo settlement in the northern outskirts of Gorlovka with mortars damaging five houses.*jk
