House damaged as Ukrainian forces fire mortars at Zaitsevo – Prikhodko

Donetsk, Oct 5 – DAN. Ukrainian forces on Monday evening shelled the Zaitsevo neighbourhood in northern Gorlovka damaging a house, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Tuesday.

“Yesterday, at 21:30, the house at 2 Latsis Street took a direct hit as Zaitsevo came under mortar fire,” Prikhodko said.

The man who was in the house at the time of shelling was not hurt, he added.

A team of the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain more accurate information on the aftermath of the shelling.

Earlier reports on Tuesday said that Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 23 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 170 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
