Ukrainian commander awarded for jamming OSCE UAVs in Donbass

Donetsk, May 3 – DAN. The commander of the Ukrainian 502 separate electronic warfare battalion has been recommended for a state award for successfully fighting OSCE UAVs in Donbass, said the head of the DPR People’s Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.

“For high efficiency in jamming OSCE UAV control channels the JFO commander Sergey NAyev recommended the commander of the Ukrainian 502 separate electronic warfare battalion Lieutenant Colonel Sinozhinskiy for a state award.”

Ukrainian forces regularly interfere with the OSCE drone operations to conceal heavy weapons presence at the contact line, prohibited under the Minsk Agreements.

Reports emerged on April 30 saying the OSCE SMM drones were engaged by Ukrainian forces outside Dzerzhinskoye and Vodyanoye. SMM UAVS regularly face jamming by Ukrainian units. *ot
