Ukrainian army jams SMM’s UAVs in DPR south

Donetsk, Jul 26 – DAN. Ukrainian units have used electronic warfare to jam the UAV of the OSCE SMM outside Lebedinskoye west of Mariupol, the DPR People’s Militia said.

“We have recorded electronic warfare used outside Lebedinskoye to jam an UAV of the OSCE SMM on a monitoring mission to control the ceasefire implementation,” the statement reads.

The Republican intelligence has also reported engineering works at Ukrainian positions west of Gorlovka.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces activated jamming of SMM’s UAV’s in three zones in Donbass.

An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.

The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
