DPR Head asks elderly over 65 to self-isolate until April 17

Donetsk, Apr 2 – DAN. Donetsk Republic residents over 65 years of age have to self-isolate until April 17, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Thursday.

“Self-isolation is obligatory for citizens over 65 in the period to April 17 except those whose presence at work is critically important,” Pushilin said in a statement.

DPR authorities will interact with residents in self-isolation, provide targeted assistance and respond to requests coming via hotline. The DPR Labour and Social Policy Ministry was tasked with arranging quick feedback.

On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection. It  Two COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Republic, according to the latest reports.*jk
