DPR holiday season to start late due to COVID-19 threat – Crisis Headquarters

Donetsk, Apr 2 – DAN. The beginning of the holiday season in the Donetsk Republic has been postponed because of the COVID-19 crisis, the interdepartmental headquarters for the prevention of import and spreading of the coronavirus infection said in a statement.
“To prevent the mass spreading of the coronavirus infection, the beginning of the holiday season is tentatively postponed to July 1, 2020,” the crisis headquarters said. “The date might change depending on the situation.”
The Republic’s authorities have teen taking all measures to prevent massive contagion, it added.
Earlier reports said that two COVID-19 cases had been diagnosed in the DPR.*jk
