Ukrainian army strikes leave Yelenovka settlement without electricity – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 26 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled the Yelenovka village area southwest of Donetsk leaving it without electricity, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“Today, at 15:05, Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Yelenovka settlement with BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle cannon,” the report said. “The strike damaged the transmission line cutting off all power supply to the settlement.”

No civilian casualties were reported.

Minsk is currently hosting a meeting of the Contact Group on peaceful settlement in Donbass.*jk
