Five houses, playground damaged as Kiev forces shell northern Gorlovka

Donetsk, Apr 1 – DAN. Houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged in the northern outskirts of Gorlovka on Monday in shelling by Ukrainian forces, head of Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

“Today, Ukrainian armed formations opened mortar fire at the Dolomitnoye township,” Yakubov said. “On top of that, the Zaitsevo neighbourhood was shelled with 120mm mortar rounds at 17:20.”

Ukrainian army strikes damaged a children’s playground in Zagorodnaya Street and two garages in the Golmovskiy township, four houses in Zheleznodorozhnaya Street in the Dolomitnoye township and a house in Rybalko street in the Zaitsevo neighbourhood.

Ukrainian forces are continuing to shell Zaitsevo, according to the latest reports. Damage assessment is underway.*jk
