No shooting on contact line between DPR, Ukraine over 24 hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Oct 27 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have not opened fire at the Donetsk Republic over the past 24 hours but violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen Ceasefire in Donbass once, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

A group of Ukrainian servicemen was seen carrying out engineer works in the Peski settlement area north of Donetsk. No further details were given.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire once and the additional ceasefire control measures once.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
