Ukraine violates additional ceasefire control measures on contact line with DPR three times over 24 hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Sep 10 – DAN. Ukrainian forces have observed the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk Republic over the past 24 hours while  violating the Additional Measures to Strengthen Ceasefire in Donbass three times, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian army units conducted engineer works at their positions next to the Krasnogorovka and Starognatovka settlements. At 19:30, an explosion was carried out in the Kiev-controlled Gnutovo village, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire once and the additional ceasefire control measures five times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and flights of unmanned aerial vehicles, and envisions punishment for violators.*jk
