Ukrainian army targets Donetsk with grenade launchers – JCCC

Donetsk, Dec 28 – DAN. Kiev forces opened a grenade launcher fire on the Shakhta Trudovskaya township west of Donetsk, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“A shelling was recorded at 3.15 p.m. targeting Donetsk (Shakhta Trudovskaya) from Ukrainian positions; 15 AGS rounds were fired,” the report reads.

The fire was opened from the direction of Maryinka, which is under Ukrainian control.

This is the third violation of the ceasefire on Monday alone. In the morning, the enemy shelled western Gorlovka and southern areas of the Republic.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
