Ukrainian artillery shells villages in southern DPR

Donetsk, Jul 9 – DAN. Ukrainian forces fired nearly 50 122mm and 152mm artillery rounds at villages in the south of the Donetsk Republic on Tuesday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“Strikes by Ukrainian armed formations on the Vodyanoye – Bezymennoye and Lebedinskoye – Leninskoye axes were recorded from 5:35 to 6:35,” the report said. “Twenty-five 152mm artillery rounds and 23 122mm rounds were fired.”

After 7:00, Kiev forces fired at the Spartak village outside Donetsk with grenade launchers, large calibre machine guns and small arms, the JCCC said.

No casualties or damage were immediately reported.*jk
