Ukrainian forces fire some 50 mortar rounds at Kominternovo village area in southern DPR – JCCC

Donetsk, Jan 23 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations fired 120mm mortars at the Kominternovo village area in the south of the Donetsk Republic on Thursday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“Ukrainian armed formations’ strikes on the Talakovka – Kominternovo axis were recorded at 07:35 and 08:10,” the report said. “Overall, 20 120mm mortar rounds were fired.”

On top of that, Ukrainian forces at the Vodyanoye village fired another 24 120mm mortar rounds towards Kominternovo at 07:50, the JCCC said.

On Wednesday evening, Kiev forces delivered strikes with 152mm howitzers at the Krasnoarmeiskoye, Novaya Tavriya and Kominternovo village areas.*jk
