Kiev forces fire over 100 rounds of ammunition at DPR frontline areas on Thursday morning

Donetsk, Jul 11 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled frontline areas of the Donetsk Republic on Thursday morning, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“From 3:40 to 8:20, strikes by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded on the following axes: Fyodorovka, Granitnoye – Lugovoye; Avdeyevka – Spartak, Vasilyevka; Granitnoye – Maryevka; Chermalyk – Sosnovskoye; Novoluganskoye – Golmovskiy, Dolomitnoye; Novotroitskoye – Dokuchayevsk; Talakovka – Kominternovo. Overall, 112 82mm mortar rounds and 120 122mm artillery rounds were fired.

Gorlovka administration head Ivan Prikhodko said that two houses in Bolnichnaya and Kobylyanskaya Streets had been damaged in strikes at the Golmovskiy and Komsomolets residential areas. In the village of Zaitsevo, utility sheds in Obruchev Street caught fire from ordnance impact.

A team of the Donetsk Republic Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain evidence of the aftermath of the shelling.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that an elderly woman had been killed in Gorlovka in shelling by Ukrainian forces.*jk
