★ Elderly woman killed as Ukrainian forces shell Gorlovka – administration head

Donetsk, Jul 11 – DAN. A resident of the Golmovskiy neighbourhood in the outskirts of Gorlovka was killed in shelling by Ukrainian forces, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Thursday.

“A 70-year-old woman at 23 Bolnichnaya Street was fatally wounded in a strike at the Golmovskiy township,” Prikhodko said.

A team of the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain evidence of the aftermath of the shelling.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that Ukrainian forces had shelled Gorlovka and its outskirts. Damage to residential areas has been recorded.*jk
