One civilian killed, another wounded in Ukrainian drone attack outside Gorlovka

Donetsk, Apr 9 – DAN. A resident of Shirokaya Balka was killed as a Ukrainian army drone dropped a mine on the settlement, Gorlovka town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Thursday.

A 26-year-old woman was killed in the attack on Shirokaya Balka,” Prikhodko said. “The UAV dropped the mines at 166 Plotkinskaya Street. The woman died on the way to hospital.”

A 60-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds to the neck, chest and ear and a penetrating lung injury, he added.

A team of the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination went to the scene to obtain more accurate information on the aftermath of the attack.*jk
