All DPR hospitals ready to combat COVID-19 – minister

Donetsk, Mar 24 – DAN. The Donetsk Republic medical institutions are fully ready to combat the coronavirus infection, the DPR Healthcare Minister Olga Dolgoshapko told reporters on Tuesday.

“We are ready to fight the coronavirus infection. We can only have imported COVID-19 cases, so we’re taking all preventive measures to make sure we don’t have them,” Dolgoshapko said. “We’re taking every care not to import the infection and minimise the consequences.”

“All the DPR hospitals are on standby,” the minister said.

Earlier reports said that the DPR had hospitalised 15 suspected COVID-19 cases.*jk
