DPR education centres to start new school year onsite from September 1 – decree

Donetsk, Aug 25 – DAN. Schools and universities in the Donetsk Republic will go back to onsite teaching on September 1 in line with DPR Head Denis Pushilin’s decree published on his website on Tuesday.

“The DPR Education and Science Ministry, district and municipal administrations are tasked with organising teaching at secondary schools, universities, supplementary education and research centres in full-time, mixed attendance and online modes starting September 1,” according to Decree No 292.

The document commits education centres administrations to meeting sanitary and epidemiological requirements to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection.

The order is effective from the publication date.

The DPR switched to distance learning as part of COVID-19 lockdown measures pursuant to Decree No 70, dated April 2, 2020.*jk
