Ukrainian forces abandon some positions
Donetsk, Jun 26 – DAN. Ukrainian armed forces pulled back from some positions at the contact line, said the head of the DPR People’s Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.
“There are reports that the enemy leaves its positions and pulls hundreds of meters back. The information we get from Ukrainian units indicates the location of three abandoned positions,” he said without providing the exact locations.
In early June, Kiev forces reported that they had advanced in the Donetsk area and took new positions outside Maryinka. The DPR dismissed those reports as false. *ot
