Ukrainian forces preparing to shell Donetsk, Gorlovka, DPR militia warns

Donetsk, Feb 27 – DAN. The Donetsk Republic intelligence has information that Ukrainian army units are preparing to deliver artillery strikes at Donetsk and Gorlovka areas, the DPR Militia reported.

“The Joint Forces Operations Headquarters tasked the commanders of Ukraine’s 28th, 72nd, and 93rd Separate Mechanised Brigades and the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade with preparing mortar and artillery strikes at DPR settlement areas: the Dolomitnoye settlement (administered by Gorlovka Town Hall – eds Donetsk News Agency), Staromikhailovka (part of Donetsk – eds DAN), Nizhneye Lozovoye (administered by Gorlovka Town Hall – eds DAN), and the Golubovskoye and Frunze settlements and the Smeloye village in the Lugansk Republic,” the report sad.

In this connection, the DPR urged the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine to step up the contact line monitoring.*jk
