Ukraine preparing to fire 122mm leaflet shells at DPR frontline areas – militia

Donetsk, Mar 3 – DAN. Ukrainian army units in Donbass are preparing to fire 122mm howitzer leaflet rounds at frontline areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics, the DPR Militia said on Tuesday citing intelligence reports.

“According to available information, Ukrainian artillery units will disseminate leaflets in DPR and LPR residential areas by firing 122mm leaflet rounds at the territory,” the DPR militia said.

The leaflets will demand that residents of frontline districts immediately leave their homes under the threat of Ukrainian army artillery or mortar strikes. “The leaflets also threaten residents who help or support militiamen with criminal prosecution if they enter Ukraine as well as ‘negative consequences’ for their relatives living in Kiev-held areas,” it added.

The DPR militia urged the international community to take a closer look at the methods Ukraine is using with respect to the Donbass Republics.*jk
