Civilian wounded in Ukrainian army fire as he crosses contact line southwest of Donetsk – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 27 – DAN. A civilian was wounded in the neutral zone between the crossing points of Yelenovka in the Donetsk Republic and Novotroitskoye (Ukraine) southwest of Donetsk, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Friday.

“A 60-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and sought medical aid at the Republican Central Clinical Hospital,” the JCCC said. “He was wounded in the neutral zone by small arms fire from Ukrainian armed formations after crossing the contact line through the Ukrainian crossing point Novotroitskoye.”

The wounded man received medical assistance. The DPR militia strictly observes the ceasefire, the JCCC said.*jk
