★ Elderly woman wounded in Donetsk shelling – JCCC

Donetsk, Jul 18 – DAN. A civilian was wounded as Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk on Thursday, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“At 17:25, Ukrainian armed formation fired at the Vesyoloye village with 120mm and 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and small arms” the report said. “A 68-year-old woman was wounded in the Oktyabrskaya Colliery township area.”

The woman suffered a shrapnel wound to the leg, the JCCC added.*jk
