Contact Group agrees to “10 for 8” POW swap before Easter

Donetsk, Apr 8 – DAN. Contact Group has reached an agreement to carry out a “10 for 8” POW swap before the Easter, said DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.

“Today we managed to convey the importance and humanitarian nature of this process. We hope that further on it shall go without changes and according to the preliminary harmonized plan,” she said.

Morozova earlier confirmed that the DPR had fulfilled all the procedures for the POW swap.

The swap was expected to take place on March 29, but Ukraine failed to take the steps to facilitate it. *ot
