Pushilin says DPR exports on the rise

Donetsk, Mar 5 – DAN. The Donetsk Republic increased exports in 2018, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said at the Donbass Power forum.

“The fact that we’re bridging the gap between imports and exports shows that our businesses are developing and our economy is improving, which highlights positive economic trends,” Pushilin said.

The DPR’s key export items are metal, coal, electric power and foodstuffs. Last year, the Republic’s industrial companies’ sales increased by 47 percent from 2017. No further details were provided.

Earlier reports said that Donetsk hosted a republican forum Donbass Power which addressed the DPR development strategy.*jk
