Pushilin meets female servicemembers on the eve of International Women’s Day
Donetsk, Mar 6 – DAN. The DPR Head Denis Pushilin has held a meeting with female servicemembers on the eve of the International Women’s Day.
“I had a meeting with female servicemembers of the Republic to congratulated them with this wonderful spring holiday! Dear ladies, you defend our country, work for the benefit of the Republic, and at the same time you stay feminine and charming, we always appreciate your contribution to the DPR people’s well-being,” Pushilin said.
He wished health, energy and power to all the female servicemembers.
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights after 15 thousand US women took to the streets of New York in 1909 demanding reduction the working day, better salaries, electoral rights and ban on child labor. In 1975 the day of March, 8 was added to the list of the UN International holidays. *ot
