Ukrainian forces open mortar fire at northern outskirts of Donetsk – JCCC

Donetsk, Nov 14 – DAN. Kiev army units have opened mortar fire at Donetsk’s northern outskirts, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said.

“At 17:40, Ukrainian armed formations in the Peski settlement delivered a strike towards the Volvo Centre (northern Donetsk – eds Donetsk News Agency),” the JCCC said. “Five 82mm mortar rounds were fired; the shelling is ongoing.”

Earlier, the enemy fired more than 50 grenade launcher rounds at the above Donetsk area.

Reports on Thursday said that Ukrainian forces doubled the number of strikes at the DPR in 15 ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours.  A civilian was wounded as western Donetsk came under fire.*jk
