Ukrainian forces shell Gorlovka outskirts as water supply company personnel run repairs

Donetsk, Nov 27 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the 6/7 Colliery neighbourhood in the outskirts of Gorlovka as utility company personnel were repairing water supply lines there, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Wednesday.

“At 10:55, Ukrainian armed formations in the Shumy settlement area fired 82mm mortars and anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launchers toward the 6/7 Colliery neighbourhood,” the report said. “Fire was delivered at the area where Voda Donbassa Company personnel were running repairs under security guarantees earlier provided by Ukraine.”

The DPR Office at the JCCC asked Kiev for additional security guarantees to establish a stable ceasefire in the area.

The strike did not cause civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure, the JCCC said.*jk
