DPR reports 37 new COVID-19 cases

Donetsk, Aug 5 – DAN. DPR has registered 37 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases raises to 1,866, the Ministry of Health said.

“The Ministry of Health reports that tests revealed 37 cases of COVID-19 in the DPR on August 4.”

Five of the patients have recovered and tested negative twice.

Overall, 859 patients recovered, 899 are being treated, 108 died.

On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection spread.

As of August 5, record 1,271 new patients were registered in Ukraine bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 75,490, of those 1,788 died.*ot*pp
