DPR confirms 33 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours
“The Ministry of Health reports that tests revealed 33 cases of COVID-19 in the DPR on August 18.”
One of the patients arrived from Ukraine; the rest had contacts with previously infected, three of them are medics.
Thirty four people have recovered and tested negative twice.
Overall, 1,069 patients recovered, 958 are being treated, 120 died.
On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection spread.
As of August 19, 1,967 new patients were registered in Ukraine bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 96,403.*ot
