DPR reports 42 new COVID-19 cases
Donetsk, Aug 14 – DAN. DPR has registered 42 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 2,057, the Ministry of Health said.
“The Ministry of Health reports that tests revealed 42 cases of COVID-19 in the DPR on August 13.”
Nine of the patients arrived from Ukraine; the rest had contacts with previously infected, 11 of them are medics.
Twenty people have recovered and tested negative twice.
Overall, 978 patients recovered, 964 are being treated, 115 died.
On March 14, the DPR went on high alert in connection with the threat of the coronavirus infection spread.
As of August 14, 1,732 new patients were registered in Ukraine bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 87,872.*ot
