Ukrainian army violates ceasefire four times in 24 hours

Donetsk, Jan 27 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was four, the number of rounds fired – nine”. Yakovlevka and Kominternovo came under grenade launcher and small arms fire.

In the previous reporting period, six violations of ceasefire were reported.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”. The package came into effect on July 27. *ot
