Kiev forces violate ceasefire seven times over 24 hours

Donetsk, Jan 20 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was seven, the number of rounds fired – 33”. Staromikhailovka, Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Shakhta Gagrina came under grenade launcher and small arms fire.

In the previous reporting period, Kiev forces violated the ceasefire three times.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
