V-Day Parade has not affected COVID-19 situation, health authorities say



Donetsk, Jun 29 – DAN. DPR Health Ministry has announced that no COVID-19 cases had been registered among the participants of the Victory Day Parade.

“After the Parade all the participants were tested for coronavirus,” the Minister Olga Dolgoshapko said.

All tests returned negative.

The Parade was organized in accordance with the necessary precautions and preventive measures adopted to fight the spread of the virus.

The Victory Day Parade took place in Donetsk on June 24 joining 2.5 thousand people and 110 military equipment pieces.

Traditionally the Parade is held on May 9 to commemorate the ending of the Great Patriotic War and victory over Nazism in the WWII. This year the festivities were postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. *ot
