Total number of COVID-19 cases in DPR surpasses 5,000
Donetsk, Oct 16 – DAN. The total number of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 since the outbreak of the pandemic has exceeded 5,000, the Ministry of Health said.
“As of October 16, the total number of COVID-19 has reached 5,058,” the report reads.
In the past 24 hours, 153 new cases were revealed; 24 people were discharged from hospitals after testing negative twice; 13 virus-related deaths were reported.
The total of 2,328 patients recovered, while 2,393 are being treated; the total of 337 died.
The health authority said that in Ukraine 5,992 new cases had been reported in 24 hours, the total number of cases was at 287,231, of those 5,394 died. *ot
