Total number of COVID-19 cases in DPR surpasses 5,700

Donetsk, Oct 23 – DAN. The total number of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 since the outbreak of the pandemic has exceeded 5,700, the Ministry of Health said.

“As of October 23, the total number of COVID-19 has reached 5,735,” the report reads.

In the past 24 hours, 136 new cases were revealed; 16 people were discharged from hospitals after testing negative twice; 19 virus-related deaths were reported.

The total of 2,525 patients recovered, while 2,787 are being treated; the total of 423 died.

The health authority said that in Ukraine 7,517 new cases had been reported in 24 hours, the total number of cases was at 330,396, of those 6,164 died. *ot
