Ukrainian forces open mortar fire on Yakovlevka outside Yasinovataya

Donetsk, Oct 12 – DAN. Ukrainian forces opened mortar fire targeting the outskirts of Yakovlevka south-west of Yasinovataya, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Ukrainian armed formations fired three 82 mm caliber mortar rounds targeting Yakovlevka from the direction of Avdeyevka (ventilation shaft of the Butovka mine) at 12.22 p.m.”

Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire once over the past 24 hours.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
