DPR launches Young Guard – Yunarmiya youth patriotic organization

Donetsk, Apr 5 – DAN. The DPR has launched a military-style youth patriotic organization, the Young Guard – Yunarmiya (Youth Army), DAN correspondent reports.

The Donetsk-based organization has adopted the Charter defining its structure, territorial branches (Donetsk, Gorlovka, Komsomolsk and Novoazovsk) and leadership at the conference in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War.

DPR residents aged 8-35 are eligible to become members of the Yunarmiya that focuses on sport activities, healthy lifestyle, tourism and volunteer projects.

A similar project was introduced in Russia in 2016, supported by the President and the Defense Ministry. It joins more than 380,000 members. *ot
