DPR athletes join competitions in nine countries of Europe, Asia, Africa over six years

Donetsk, Sep 24 – DAN. Donetsk Republic national teams have made some 1,400 trips for sport competitions abroad since 2014, the DPR Youth, Sports and Tourism Ministry press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.

“Up to date, a total of 12,377 people have made 1,368 trips outside the DPR as members of national teams since 2014,” the press service said.

Aside from competitions in Russia, DPR athletes took part in sport events in Belarus, China, Malaysia, Tunisia, Turkey, Japan, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.*jk
