DPR to raise pensions by 17 pc twice in 2021

Donetsk, Dec 23 – DAN. DPR is to raise pensions twice in 2021, as stipulated by the decree signed by the DPR Head Denish Pushilin.

“To improve the level of social protection of DPR citizens, guided by the P.1 Article 60 of the DPR Constitution, I order to raise pensions by 17 pc from January 1, 2021; by 17 pc from July 1, 2021,” the document reads.

The Pension Fund is to recalculate the payments.

Pensions were raised on January 1, 2020 to make the minimal payments higher than in Ukraine; currently the minimal pension in the DPR is 4,800 rubles (64 USD).

Earlier Pushilin said that by 2022 DPR pensions must reach the level of the Rostov Region in Russia. *ot
