DPR’s Head announces plans to raise residents’ incomes on par with Russian regions’
Donetsk, Dec 20 – DAN. The Donetsk Republic will continue the phased increase in wages, pensions and allowances in the next few years, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said in an annual address to the Republic’s parliament on Friday.
Earlier, Pushilin announced a 26-percent increase in public sector wages and a 20-percent increase in pensions.
“The phased increase will continue. We have to raise our incomes to the level of neighbouring Russian regions within the next few years,” he said.
The latest income increase is the fifth’s in DPR history.*jk
