Ukrainian forces shell Elenovka after security subgroup meeting

Donetsk, Jan 25 – DAN. Ukrainian army opened fire on the Elenovka township south of Donetsk, where a crossing point is located, the DPR Mission to the JCCC said.

The shelling was reported at 8.30 p.m. from the direction Taramchuk; 12 rounds of BMP-1 were fired.

An emergency meeting of the security group of the Contact Group took place today.

The Elenovka checkpoint was open today from 9 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. to let people through the humanitarian corridor.

Elenovka checkpoint currently opens twice a week as a humanitarian corridor. Gnutovo, Novotroitskoye, Maryinka remain closed due to the pandemic. *ot
