DPR medics COVID-19 compensation to make up 20 to 100 percent of salary

Donetsk, Jun 11 – DAN. The Donetsk Republic government has approved the procedure to pay compensations to the medics on state or municipal payroll for the period of fight against the coronavirus infection outbreak, the government press service reported on Thursday.

“The monthly allowance can amount to 20 to 100 percent of the average salary depending on employee category,” the report said.

The government resolution was published on the government website has retroactive effect from April 1, 2020. The compensation is paid for the hours actually worked by the personal engaged in diagnosing and treating COVID-19 cases and post-mortem examination of proven pandemic victims.
