Kiev ignores OSCE calls to provide information on ex-detainees legal clearance

Donetsk, Sep 30 – DAN. Ukraine has ignored the calls of humanitarian subgroup coordinator Toni Frish to provide information on legal clearance of liberated detainees, the DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova said.

“I have to say with regret that another round of talks of the humanitarian subgroup on September 29 has not yielded any positive results. Despure our and coordinator’s calls Ukraine did not provide information on legal clearance of prople transferred to the DPR in 2019-2020 exchages.”

Currently the status of 50 persons (transferred to the DPR on December 29, 2019 and April 16, 2020) remains unclear. *ot
