DPR forces down Ukrainian reconnaissance UAV

Donetsk, Oct 14 – DAN. DPR People’s Militia has downed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the DPR south, the Defense said.

“DPR Air Defense is successfully protecting the Republic against air threats. Professional actions of our defenders resulted in destruction of an UAV (Leleka type) on a reconnaissance mission of Ukrainian 36th brigade”.

Over the past week, four Ukrainian UAVs were downed over the DPR.

Employing combat aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in a 30 km wide zone along the line of contact is banned under Article 7 of Minsk Memorandum, with the sole exception of OSCE SMM UAVs.*ot
