DPR militia downs Kiev army’s fire-adjusting drone on southern axis

Donetsk, Dec 10 – DAN. Donetsk Republic militiamen have shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle which adjusted fire at the south of the Republic, the DPR Militia reported on Thursday.

“We’ve destroyed a Ukrainian Mavic-type UAV which gunmen of 36th Brigade (deployed on the Mariupol axis – eds Donetsk News Agency) used to adjust mortar fire,” the DPR militia said.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that the Kiev army had delivered mortar fire at southern areas of the DPR. The enemy fired 24 120mm mortar rounds at the outskirts of the Novaya Tavriya and Leninskoye villages from 00:47 to 03:15.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
