Ukrainian forces shell Donetsk, village outside Yasinovataya – JCCC

Donetsk, Sep 17 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk and the Vasilyevka village north of Yasinovataya on Tuesday morning, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported.

“Ukrainian armed formations delivered strikes at Alexandrovka and Vasilyevka from 06.00:00 to 08:00,” the report said. “The enemy fired 30 BMP-2 and BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle gun rounds and one grenade launcher round; 82mm and 120mm mortars were also used. Overall, 15 mortar rounds were fired.”

No damage or casualties were immediately reported.*jk
